Mack and twin Rohan were born in Nottingham City Hospital as mother Michelle wanted them to be born where the Twin Specialist was based although Pete and Michelle were living in Derby at the time. Well, it could have been Scotland!!
School for the twins was Barrow School followed by Chellaston. Rugby started for both in the M&Js at Melbourne from aged 5. Both lads went on to do the same course at Loughborough – Level 3 Sports Coaching and Development. And here the two lives are destined to follow different pathways.
Mack is determined to have his own business but not yet decided what that might be. He is keen on the idea of building outdoor kitchens. Travel seems a likely option at this point and with cousins in Australia come boundless opportunities in terms of exploring the outdoor aspects.

Rohan on the other hand has already grasped the nettle and created his own opportunity for an exciting future, or certainly the next four years.
Finding out that there were plenty of Football Scholarships on offer in the USA, Rohan checked out the availability of Rugby Scholarships, of which there seemed to be none. Undeterred, he came across an Instagram advert for an Agency, discussed possibilities with parents and having emailed the agency, a call was made to the agent, and Rohan was on their books. The agent created a profile of Rohan which was sent out to prospective US Colleges. There turned out to be plenty of interest and Rohan was left with the top and the third ranked Colleges to choose from offering him a Scholarship.
So, Rohan is off to the number 1 ranked rugby College in the US – Saint Bonaventure in Buffalo, New York on August 17th. Academically he will study for a Major in Sports Business Management, but realistically there will be a lot of rugby to play all over the US. Regular updates will appear on these pages during Rohan’s adventures in the USA.
