Danny Lawson has been appointed Sponsorship Manager at Melbourne RFC, effective immediately.
Danny started playing for Melbourne RFC in 2002, and played through minis, juniors, colts and into seniors. You'll see him up at training today, 19 years later. Now that's a rugby career! He takes over from David Porter, who established the new sponsorship approach ahead of the 19/20 season - a season that Covid-19 cruelly cut short. But we're back in action now playing fixtures and running events, and with the new pitch developments fully in place for 21/22 we are looking forward to the new possibilities that the pitches investments will deliver.
Danny will be working alongside Andrew Jansen (website/social), the Sponsorship Group, and David on kit.
